Galentine’s Day Gift Ideas

Galentine’s Day is a relatively new holiday to me. I’ve always enjoyed spending time with my girlfriends; whether it be my besties, female co-workers, my friends, or just casual acquaintances. But to be honest, I’ve never thought about celebrating the women I hold near and dear to my heart, other than on certain special occasions. In light of recent events, I believe celebrating the strength and power of women is even more fitting as we become stronger and more emboldened. This is partly due to another revolutionary movement that has sparked female empowerment. Ladies….let’s celebrate other ladies! With that being said, here is my round-up of Galentine’s Day Gift Ideas.

These gifts will have the women and gals in your life swooning. I tried to prospect affordable pieces, as well as items I personally love. Quite frankly, you should buy these gifts for yourself simply because you deserve them!

Galentine’s Day Gift Ideas You’ll want for yourself!

First on the list….I love candles! I also happen to have a love affair with all things (1.) Voluspa and Diptyque. (2.) Diptyque’s “Roses” candle is the ultimate floral candle and one of my favorites. It is unbelievably fragrant, but not overwhelming so. It’s as though the roses have been freshly picked from an English garden (yes, this is me waxing poetic and trying to be proper). Voluspa’s (3.) Prosecco Rose candle and diffuser wafts notes of rose, chilled champagne, and berries. Doesn’t that sound good enough to eat?

A Galentine’s Day wouldn’t be complete without chocolates. (4.) Charbonnel et Walker is a high end confectioner based in London, England. I know…super fancy. But this company knows their confections. I’d be delighted to receive a box of truffles in a pretty, pink, heart shaped box.

I am a make-up junkie. I must have a hundred variations of nude lipsticks in my vanity drawers. But I always tell myself no two lipstick shades are the same. Is this falling on deaf ears or do I really have a problem? (don’t answer…strictly rhetorical, wink!) For the woman who simply wants a lightly tinted lip, (6.) Fresh’s Sugar lip balm is for you. It nourishes, protects, and moisturizes your pout. Another pick for lips is (7.) Dior’s Lip Glow. This lip balm moisturizes and supposedly reacts with the chemistry of your own lips before releasing the color. I also had to include (5.) MAC’s new make-up palette called “Basic Bitch” just because of the name. (I personally love it!)

Let’s talk skin products. I am in love with (8.) Kate Somerville’s Wrinkle Warrior Plumping Mask. This mask works wonders on tired skin. Your skin will look radiant and hydrated after one use. Believe me, I was shocked too! You won’t know until you experience it for yourself. This stuff is unicorn magic in a jar and happens to smell of floral deliciousness.

Roses….am I beginning to sound like a broken record? (10.) Herbivore’s Rose Hibiscus hydrating water mist is delightful and instantly refreshes and revitalizes your skin. For a more affordable option, choose (9.) Mario Badescu’s Aloe and Rose water spray.  You can never go wrong with (11.) bath salts or body scrubs. (12.) Herbivore’s Coconut Milk bath will have your skin feeling luxuriously soft and smooth. This company uses plant-based, natural ingredients without all the harsh chemicals. As someone who is highly sensitive to chemicals, I’m an advocate of products without all the harsh caustic chemicals.

For the accessory lover, these trinkets from Bauble Bar will have her looking stylish and on point. (13.) Tassel earrings are still super hot, lightweight, and easy to wear. A soft pink is a neutral that will coordinate with virtually any color. Additionally, a (14.) layered necklace is always a fabulous option for a gift. I’m also including this pretty (15.) Gunny Saxe lace clutch because I think it’s a really unique accessory.

For the home decorator, I’m keen on (17.) Cuddle Up’s fuzzy heart-shaped pillow. There’s something about soft fuzzy pillows and throws that make me want to snuggle up and drink hot chocolate at home. However, I’m really obsessing over the heart shaped pom-poms adorning (16.) Levtex’s canvas throw pillow. This throw pillow is feminine and has character. As an aside, I’m still having a moment with pom-poms.

Speaking of staying at home….for the loungers, these joggers from (18.) Midnight Bakery are comfortable, feminine and will have you lounging for hours. And the best part….they’re blush pink!

Hope I was able to lend a helping hand with my round up of Galentine’s Day Gift Ideas; maybe you’ll find something for yourself! And Happy Galentine’s Day, to all the fabulous ladies!
